How to watermark an image

  1. Drop the image in. JPG, PNG or WebP. The picture opens on a canvas that is ready to be marked.
  2. Add your mark. Type the watermark, then choose a font, a colour and where it sits: a corner, the centre, or a diagonal tile repeated across the whole picture.
  3. Download. Save the watermarked copy. The original file on your device is untouched.

Common questions

Where should the watermark go?

A corner keeps the picture readable while still marking it as yours. A diagonal tile is harder to crop out, and the centre is the easiest to remove but the most obvious.

Will the watermark make the image look bad?

That is up to the opacity and the position you choose. A light mark in the corner is easy to overlook, which is usually what you want.
