How to pull a palette from a photo
- Drop a photo in. The image is read in your browser and a palette is pulled straight out of the pixels.
- Look through the colours. The dominant shades appear as swatches, each with its hex code.
- Copy the ones you want. Click a swatch to put its hex code on the clipboard, then paste it into your design.
Common questions
Where do the colours come from?
From your image. The palette is sampled from the actual pixels, so it reflects the colours in the photograph rather than a generic set.
What format is the hex code in?
The usual six digit hex, the same thing a colour picker in a design tool gives you, so it can be pasted straight in.
